The Neighborhood -- Wauwatosa Farmers' Market

I finally made it to the Farmer's Market in my neighborhood!

For weeks I had been getting up bright and early on Saturday mornings throwing on some kicks, grabbing my satchel, and running out to the market. I couldn't wait to get my hands on some fresh produce. I would walk down to the market and there would be nothing there.

Nothing.

I swore that the market didn't exist. This went on for weeks. Really.

Turns out I was going to the wrong part of State Street the whole time.

Anyways...I MADE IT! I bought beans and bread.
And they're delicious.

  1. Farmers markets are just so much fun, aren't they?! And it always takes me forever to track one down by me... I swear, they grow legs or something.

  3. Looooove farmers markets, especially in the late summer/fall. Such a bounty of veggies, and look at that BREAD!! This post just reminded me how much I need to (remember to) go to the farmers market this weekend myself. One of the joys in life. So glad they're just more and more popular as the years go by. Foodies' delight! ;)

  4. Our farmers market seriously sucks. It only has like 5 booths and they all seriously have the same thing. All except for the little holderman women (pretty much amish) who make delicious cinnamon rolls and bread. But everything else? suck.
I will move to a town that has a wonderful one ASAP.

  5. I LOVE the Tosa Market. I've watched it grow over the last three years into the amazingness that it is. Have you checked out the Stallis market? It'll BLOW your mind!
